WEDDING AND PARTY WINE SPECIALISTS
The French Market specialise in wines that will contribute to making your event a success. We can advise on the best wines for all types of occasions and budgets taking into consideration the menu you have chosen.
We will work with you to ensure any worries or concerns regarding delivery of wine are managed by ourselves.
Things to remember to aid the planning of any wedding/party
- Check the corkage you will be charged for wines and champagnes. Remember, this can always be negotiated!
- You need to allow at least one bottle white/red per 4 guests. ( Except sparkling and champagne )
- We will discuss sparkling wine/champagne ratios with you, these will be dependant on the menu you have chosen.
- Ensure that your delivery of wine is at your venue at least 2 days before the event.
- All sparkling wines and champagne and white wines should be in a fridge or cold room 2 days before the event.
- Ensure that all the boxes delivered to the venue are labelled with your name and the date of your wedding/party
- It would be a good idea to have a friend or a member of your family to take charge of the wines during the event, for example, to ensure that the bottles are opened as you need them and toensure that all glasses are filled (not to the top! especially the white wines, there is nothing as nasty as a warm glass of white wine!)
