By accessing our website and buying wine from The French Market, you are agreeing to our Terms & Conditions as set out below.
CUSTOMER CARE & QUALITY
We aim to always provide a high quality selection of wines. If for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your wine choice, we would like to hear from you. We do not operate a refund/returns policy but will gladly discuss your wine choices with you directly.
AGE RESTRICTION
In accordance with the Intoxicating Liquor Act 2008, it is our policy not to sell wine to anyone under the age of eighteen. If you place an order you are confirming that you are over eighteen years of age. Equally, wine may only be purchased for recipiants who are over the age of eighteen.
DELIVERY
Delivery is only available within Ireland.
A flat rate of €8.00 per address is applied.
Deliveries of multiple hampers or gifts to the same location is free of charge for a minimum order of €1000
Deliveries are normally dispatched within 2 working days.
Your name, address, telephone numbers – land line and mobile number must accompany all orders.
Orders received after 12h00 are regarded as being received the following day. If you have not received your order within 3 days, please contact us. Deliveries are made during business hours (09h00 – 17h00) and you must be available to take delivery and sign for it. If you are not available at the time of delivery, a contact slip will be left for you to arrange a time to collect or receive your order. Deliveries outside business hours is not possible. If you or the receipient think that you will be unable to accept delivery you can arrange to have it delivered to a business address. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any special requirements regarding delivery
During the Christmas season, deliveries may take longer to arrive, please place your order earlyy to avoid disappointment.
BREAKAGES
We will always try to ensure our wine reaches you intact. If for any reason bottles are broken when you receive your wine, you should return the wine to the delivery service and not accept it. It is your responsibility to check for any breakages prior to accepting delivery. The French Market will not be responsible for breakages that are notified to us after you have accepted delivery.
AVAILIBILITY
We will always do our best to ensure that the wine or vintage that you order is supplies. If any of your selected wines are unavailable, we will substitute with a wines that is of the same or higher quality at no extra cost. For specialist or large orders, we will contact you directly to discuss substitute options.
PRICES & PAYMENT
All prices quoted are per bottle (except for Hampers & Gifts) and are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Payment is accepted by credit card via PayPal and all transactions must be completed in advance of delivery.
